Over the past decade, Sammitr Motors Manufacturing Public Company Limited has grown from a parts supplier to an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and offer products under the “Sammitr” brand.

The company has consistently paid attention to research and development in a bid to improve products and reduce production costs. New products have been developed to meet market demands as well as creating new demand. Our experience in supplying parts to leading auto manufacturers and the technology we have gleaned from our business allies have helped us put our products at the forefront of the industry.

To maintain leadership and a competitive edge, the company has assigned an R&D unit to develop, upgrade and present new products which can better meet and exceed customer needs. Not only does the company strive to develop in-house personnels with knowledge and expertise in automobile engineering and alternative energy, but also the company has joined hands with business allies from other leading research houses like China ChongQing Automobile Research Institute (CCARI), NONOX B.V. LANDI RENZO S.P.A and Thailand’s National Metal and Materials Technology Center.

Over the past 5 years, our R&D unit has contributed greatly to commercial products and new innovations in both logistics and alternative energy. Successful projects are behind the production of light-weight trailers, special-purpose trucks, NGV trucks, NGV conversion kits and Multi Propose Truck with 100% Biodiesel Engine (B100).

R&D is at the heart of the new products that we roll out into the market. Such research, coupled with the development of expertise and the training of quality personnel, has ensured that the company has maintained leadership through high quality and high standards.
